Abuse Recovery
Natasha specializes with clients who have experienced abuse. These clients who overcome abuse challenges are amazingly resilient, but their tendency to feel shame needs to be worked through and their self esteem built up and protected. Natasha offers a compassionate, safe environment for survivors to journey toward recovery and healing.
Depression and Anxiety
Natasha also specializes with clients who experience depression and anxiety. Depression can take on different forms; there are various types of Depression. At times, it is not clearly recognizable. It can exhibit itself in more obvious ways such as tearfulness or negative statements. It can also exhibit itself in more subtle ways such as a loss of interest in hobbies, a change in sleep, eating patterns, and isolation. She will work with you through depression that might prevent you from fully experiencing life. Anxiety can also take on different forms and cause physical symptoms. It can range from mild worry, fear, panic attacks, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Natasha will go over various relaxation techniques and counseling treatment theories to help you develop coping skills.
Rehab and Senior Living Transitions
Natasha began her social work career working extensively in three area rehab and long-term homes. She served residents and families, helping them work through the rehabilitation processes, post-rehab placement, adjusting to the difficult decision of long-term permanent placement, and giving them support with the end-of-life process and grief work. Natasha can help you navigate these life transitions and offer information on supportive services that exist to provide assistance during these times.
